I threw up a little bit in my mouth when I saw the trailer the other night:
http://www.sonypictures.com/movies/ghostrider/
I like Nic Cage OK, but I don't know that I would have cast him as the Ghost Rider.
Also sounds like they have messed with the story line...just like Punisher.
Sometimes they can't leave good enough alone.
Geez they could have Left Peter Fonda and the Chopper out of it.The Only Thing Saving the Movie is Sam Elliot. As Always looks like they've went Overboard on the Computer Animation like the Incredible Hulk.

Holy crap, that IS Peter Fonda. It doesn't really help anything, but I hadn't noticed it before.
Looks like it'll be fine as mindless entertainment.
Hi starwalt! :kiss3:
too bad about the movie. looks like typical hollywood fluff. Casting Peter Fonda makes a nice inside joke, don't it?
I'll tell you the movie I want to see: Smokin' Aces!! bwahahaha...
http://www.smokinaces.net/
Yeah, and with Ray Liotta...YAY! :kiss3: And he's playing a good guy for once! :icon_mrgreen:
Geeze I hate nicholas cage... I'd rather see vin diesel, and it pains me to say that. :2guns:
You hate Nick Cage?
What about Raising Arizona?

Hi starwalt! :kiss3:
What's really sad is the writers of the original stories often do a great job. That's what made the comic work to begin with. Then along comes a screen writer, some producers, industry stiffs, etc, and before everyone knows it you have a Towering Inferno/Poseidon effect.
Oh well, it employs a lot of people and helps the economy -- I think. :dunno_white:
Hey Pandy! :kiss3: :thumb:
(Ballroom dancing this Saturday night!!!)
this is a horrible role for nick cage....
I cant stand him in some movies... he's alright in others.
you can tell exactly what type of nick cage movie this is gonna be; when 10 seconds into the preview, and the first time they show him, he's got his signature, squinty, stupid look on his face....
now that's acting folks...
smokin aces looks sweeeet!
^^ I agree with you I3uddha.
I liked Rasing Arizona, and Leaving Las Vegas... but other stuff like face off, con air, gone in 60 secs, his bad acting really shows.
Nick cage was good in Matchstick Men. Very good, actually.
But I digress.
The realy irony here is that I heard an interview this morning with the cast of Smokin' Aces. Ryan Reynolds compared it to, of all things, Raising Arizona. How cool is that?
Smokin Aces Might be Pretty good.
According to Rob Zombie's Myspae Page he has a new one Coming out. :thumb: :thumb:It's Called Werewolf Women of the SS and has Malcolm Mcdowell of Clockwork Orange in it.
You know I was going to explain why I hate this whole thing, but you know what I can just put it in a form that the nincompoops will understand:
f%$k THAT shaZam!.
They should make a movie about motorcycle couriers in WW2.
