What is the difference between an 88' headlight and an 89'?

There is a halogen headlight on Ebay but the guy says it only fits an 88' :?

Anyone know?

There was no GS500 twin in 1988.

Any H4 or 9003 bulb will fit any GS500's stock headlight system.

I use a Sylvania SilverStar available at most auto parts stores. Great bulb. A bit pricey, but worth the convenience when you need one without having to order one online.

I checked this site. I may be looking for something that doesn't exist - Is there a replacement head light blub (big round thing in front) :) for the GS??? Something brighter than stock?
