I know this is a total n00b retard question, but I'm trying to order some spark plugs for my bike from mr.cycles (http://www.mrcycles.com/fiche_section_detail.asp?category=Motorcycles&make=Suzuki&year=1996&fveh=2103 ... go down and click on cylinder head). Ive noticed on all the parts schematics, there is a second number x-y, that has a different part number. What is this number? Which one do I need?
IE: I want spark plug, so I'm looking at 15. Then I scroll down, and I see 15-1, and 15-2. 15-1 is cheaper. Are they brands? Also, I see REQ# = 2. Does that just mean how many there are on the bike or the required order quantity?
Dunno bout your question. but to answer spark plug questions in general..
http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?topic=12818.0
from the FAQ
15-1 = SPARK PLUG (NGK, DPR8EA-9)
15-2 = SPARK PLUG (ND, X24EPR-U9)
Different brands....NGK or ND (NippoDenso, I think it is just Denso now)
Req# is what is needed for the bike not quantity per part number. You have to order 2.
If you want Plugs take one of your Old ones to Auto Zone.Tell them you want Non Resistor Plugs.Should be $1.50 or Less for NGK's. :thumb:
You do not need Resistor Plugs.Your Bike Hass Resistor Caps and it really Doesn't even need those unless your Listen to The CB,SW or AM Radio going down the road.
