Title: My first post/Clear Alternatives question
Post by: anthonyd5189 on February 01, 2007, 10:00:23 PM
Hey guys, Im new here.

Quick question, I was looking at the intergrated LED taillight for the gs500 and it says '04-'05.  Those are the same as '06 right?  Also does anyone else have this taillight with pictures of it installed, I did a search and everything I found had no pictures.  Also any input on the compay and taillight would be great.

Thanks

Yeah, but you meant to say "all 01+ models are the same", right?

I dug this beauty up by doing a quick search for "clear alternatives".

You first need to host your pictures somewhere on the internet.  You could use the GSTwins gallery located at http://www.gstwins.com/photogallery/ or you could go to a site like www.photobucket.com or similar.  Once you have the photo hosted, you click the "Insert Image" button when you are posting.  It will add {img] before the url of your picture and {/img] after the url.  This will cause the picture you link to to show up directly in the text of your post.

Oh, and by the way...the url you insert must be the url of the actual picture (so it will end in .jpg or similar).

For example, I have a picture of my GS at the following url...

http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c391/KSUDanimal/exhaust2.jpg

So if I place that inside of the IMG brackets...

not positive, but I believe they're SV mirrors.. usually sell for cheap on SVrider forums. How's the conversion to naked going? I saw a set of GS fairings on ebay last night, and thought of you. but they were blue/white, so I knew they weren't yours.

Just put on flush mounts

To get rid of that gap instead of cutting the fairing I just pushed the rubber on the light down till it made a decent seal on the fairing as seen in the next picture.

Looks good.. I dig the black frame.. might have mine powdercoated someday... paint your headlight bucket yellow to match the bike... or black.. but don't leave it silver..
