Title: Where is the best place to measure seat height to test for aftermarket shock?
Post by: coolboarder on February 03, 2007, 07:33:13 AM
I've got a katana shock here and plan on installing, but I just realized the previous owner did many mods and this might be done already. Where is the best place to measure the seat height to look for a reading of 31.5".

Thanks

You should measure from a hardpoint on the frame. Directly above the axle is typically where suspension setup measurement as taken. This will give you a relative height change. I would provide the measurement but I do not have a stock bike. Hopefully someone else will.
