If that rear fender blended into the back of the seat, or there was some sort of bubble covering up the exposed under part of the seat, I'd like it more.

However, VMaxes are naturally hot. So yeah. Hot.

exposed underpart of seat,? nothing of the underside of seat is visible? which part are you referring to?, ( i am curious) or perhaps youre seeing something which ive overlooked ( which does happen lol)

i believe he is talking about the rear fender.  He is saying that if there were a bubble or way to make it flow with the back of the seat better he would like it a little more.  I agree, but it looks good non the less.

The back of the seat, where the tail light is mounted. It just doesn't flow into the rear fender very well. It's like a big, tall, silver trimmed mass, and then an itty bitty rear fender coming out from it.

aye i see where youre comingfrom there. but basically we made this from parts on hand. the fender (rear) is the original vmax fender, the shiny rack loonin thing is what used to be a sissybar from an older harley the shocks were from an old honda, he put the tire on, 3 sizes larger than stock, ohhh damn that thing rides good  :icon_mrgreen:, im tryin to see if hell let me borrow it, for the deals gap get-together :icon_mrgreen:

I bought an 86 V-Max new and put 96,000 only occasionally hard miles on it, it never gave me any trouble--never even needed a valve shim replacement.

with my negs and neuropathy it is painful for me to ride the thing. if i were to buy it, id have to convert to fwd controls. and this one is CHEAP too. ( salvage title. was in a dealership fire. ) but wasnt damaged at all. but all bikes got this markdown. i think he was trying to get 1700-2200 out of it or something.
