Check this out. Michelin released it's new prototype airless tire called Tweel. Eliminating flats, inflation, and replacement. The new tires will never go flat and will only need to be retreaded instead of replaced. I'm already saving up.

Probably cuts down on burnouts, though.
wonder how much power you would have to push before you broke the spokes
Ill bet you lose MPG running those.
Does anyone else think "tweel" is a stupid name? It immediately associates this product with "sporks" in my mind.
And whe all know what a cutlery revolution hat was.

i hate sporks and I hate the tweel. I refuse to use either lol
I like my tweels like I like my women...black, round, and dragged around the block a few times.
They could angle the spokes a little and make noises with them.. now that would be lame.. but it would fit with its name. Should have named them like ALW's for AirLess Wheel, or something like that, but tweel? cmon I'd sport them if they would close the sides up so they looked like normal wheels.
