I am riding my GS every day when it isn't snowing. So whereever people feel like going for a ride, I am probably in, as long as I don't have something else going on.

What's the problem with it? Doesn't idle? Idle rough? If you want I could take a look and, if it is something other than an engine rebuid, I could help you to get it tuned again.

Cheers,
Jenya

I think it just needs standard maintenance type stuff...  It's running rough and missing (dead spot) around 7K...

It doesn't have the GO that it should have......   Needs oil, etc, etc too...  And probably fork oil...  Maybe chain ('cause I'm a bad owner).

Assuming it's somewhat nice out, I'm down...

I can probably drag my wife along for 2up...

And I have a couple other buddies that I ride with alot...  One has a SV and the other has a BMW.

I know a lot of short/few hour runs...  And a couple longer ones.

I ride that pointy-toothed monster twice a day, every day... Rain or shine. :icon_confused:

So...  If it ever stops being crappy...  Pick a day, general area, meeting place, and time...  Post it up (I like to PM people after I post it, 'cause I'm impatient like that) and let's go ride.   :icon_mrgreen:

I can take the Baby G or the Meany...  No matter to me.   :icon_mrgreen:

Sometimes I ride during the week...

Well, all we can do is try to get a ride together...  Seattle GS riders don't seem to get together much.  I think I've been on 2 rides with more than 2 GSTwinners. :icon_rolleyes:

Well like I said just give me a time and a place and what do you do when you ride? I never done it before. what's so special about riding with others, other than having some company. i don't know where we would go

Riding with other people is kinda like snowboarding with other people...  Some love it and some hate it.

Personally, I think it's more fun to follow and/or lead a small group...  Even if you don't pull over and talk about the ride...  There's something about that pack mentality that makes the human brain feel better.   :dunno_white:  (Like sheep or something...)

If you ride with people that don't ride like you, it sucks...  If they're going 20 over and you're going the speed limit, it will be short lived...  If you're going 20 over and they're going the speed limit, short lived as well.  The worst is when they're riding totally out of control like idiots and you're trying to be safe...

The best is when you all ride about the same and the leader can show you a new road.   :icon_mrgreen:  I know lots of roads between Redmond, Monroe, Carnation, Issaquah, and Fall City. :thumb:  Some are tight, some are fast, some are just nice and smooth with little to no lights and traffic...

...

And next weekend is my Anniversary, so I won't be doing anything the wife doesn't want to do.

So as you might have seen my friend got into a motorcycle accident.
I now see the value of motorcycle insurance.
I called around A LOT this weekend and found great rates at State Farm.
If you need insurance message me and I'll give you the local contact name and phone number.
I got FULL coverage for about $20 a month!
She said it's because I'm 33, have no tickets in the last 3 years, and the bike is older (99).
