I went riding yesterday... Anyone else?
Today too........
I went out Friday and it was a great day, there were a lot of other people out (in the Carnation-Sammamish-Redmond area).
Saturday calls for Party Sunny...
DAMN it's sunny... And nobody replied to ride...
I am riding my GS every day when it isn't snowing. So whereever people feel like going for a ride, I am probably in, as long as I don't have something else going on.
Jenya
I ride every day too...
Which reminds me... I gotta get my poor GS to the shop...

What for?
It's running like Pooposaurus Rex... And I'm wrenchtarded... So, I don't want to screw it up more than it is. :icon_confused:
What's the problem with it? Doesn't idle? Idle rough? If you want I could take a look and, if it is something other than an engine rebuid, I could help you to get it tuned again.
Cheers,
Jenya
I think it just needs standard maintenance type stuff... It's running rough and missing (dead spot) around 7K...
It doesn't have the GO that it should have...... Needs oil, etc, etc too... And probably fork oil... Maybe chain ('cause I'm a bad owner).
soooo, anybody up for a ride? Maybe next weekend? Any interesting routes?
Jenya
Assuming it's somewhat nice out, I'm down...
I can probably drag my wife along for 2up...
And I have a couple other buddies that I ride with alot... One has a SV and the other has a BMW.
I know a lot of short/few hour runs... And a couple longer ones.
Well, based on today, the riding season may not be here yet. It is snowing here in North Bend.
But, it's sunny in Seattle today...
Ah... I love Western Washington.
The five day forcast calls for Rain, Rain, Rain, Rain, and........ Rain.
:dunno_white:
We'll get there eventually.
Suuuuuuuuuny day... It's not raaaaaaaaaaining today...
Forcast for this weekend... Rain.
It's supposed to be nice and sunny here in the bay area! :flipoff:

I'm going to file an intarwebs restraining order on you!!!!
I can't wait for summer to make the 410 run around mount rainer... that is an AWESOME ride!
I heard a nasty rumor that the road up to Paradise is fx0rd and probably not going to open... ???
Yea, I went up there the other day... chinook is closed too... I've heard the same nasty rumour...
I've got my fingers crossed!
HOLY CRAP it's the nicest day of the year...
I'm going HERE (http://www.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=6017+Airport+Way+S,+Seattle,+WA+98108,+USA&sll=47.581795,-122.334565&sspn=0.057085,0.084457&layer=&ie=UTF8&z=16&ll=47.54987,-122.316778&spn=0.00714,0.010557&om=1&iwloc=addr) for lunch... So, look for a blue GS500 with a red 1/4 fairing on the front.
:thumb: :icon_mrgreen: :thumb:
Anyone, anyone? Sometime? Sun? Ride? Replace my chain for me?
Anyone, anyone?
No one? Well, I got my new chain on, even though I think it's 1 or 2 links too long... :icon_rolleyes:
Maybe we should try to do a group ride sometimes?
Jenya
I'm down for it...
I'm a newbie on my new bike, but I could ride either one. :icon_mrgreen:
Holy crap it's hot today... I can't bring myself to put my gear on...
Hey I am up for riding with some people in seattle area. I never really rode with other people other than the random riding next to another motorcycle on the freeway or street. didn't know them though.
i'll go riding if you pay for the plane ticket to seattle and give me a bike to ride

Yeah I could imagine that, never been on there on a motorcycle but have been in a car and that's scary enough.

I ride that pointy-toothed monster twice a day, every day... Rain or shine. :icon_confused:
So... If it ever stops being crappy... Pick a day, general area, meeting place, and time... Post it up (I like to PM people after I post it, 'cause I'm impatient like that) and let's go ride. :icon_mrgreen:
I can take the Baby G or the Meany... No matter to me. :icon_mrgreen:

Well this weekend wouldn't work for me but maybe next weekend or during the week works for me too. I am in the bellevue area so hit me up sometime.
Sometimes I ride during the week...
Well, all we can do is try to get a ride together... Seattle GS riders don't seem to get together much. I think I've been on 2 rides with more than 2 GSTwinners. :icon_rolleyes:

Well like I said just give me a time and a place and what do you do when you ride? I never done it before. what's so special about riding with others, other than having some company. i don't know where we would go
Riding with other people is kinda like snowboarding with other people... Some love it and some hate it.
Personally, I think it's more fun to follow and/or lead a small group... Even if you don't pull over and talk about the ride... There's something about that pack mentality that makes the human brain feel better. :dunno_white: (Like sheep or something...)
If you ride with people that don't ride like you, it sucks... If they're going 20 over and you're going the speed limit, it will be short lived... If you're going 20 over and they're going the speed limit, short lived as well. The worst is when they're riding totally out of control like idiots and you're trying to be safe...
The best is when you all ride about the same and the leader can show you a new road. :icon_mrgreen: I know lots of roads between Redmond, Monroe, Carnation, Issaquah, and Fall City. :thumb: Some are tight, some are fast, some are just nice and smooth with little to no lights and traffic...
...

I'm thinking about riding out to Spokane this weekend...
And next weekend is my Anniversary, so I won't be doing anything the wife doesn't want to do.
I want to ride tonight, but I'm supposed to have band practice... :icon_confused:

So as you might have seen my friend got into a motorcycle accident.
I now see the value of motorcycle insurance.
I called around A LOT this weekend and found great rates at State Farm.
If you need insurance message me and I'll give you the local contact name and phone number.
I got FULL coverage for about $20 a month!
She said it's because I'm 33, have no tickets in the last 3 years, and the bike is older (99).
