Title: High float level and engine flooded with gas - solved
Post by: boltiker on February 25, 2007, 12:41:45 PM
After another round of working on my carbs I found that once I turn on fuel I get high float level and it leaks to engine and air filter. It was puzzling me for a while because everything looked normal in the Float assembly and I new that it is adjusted properly. Finally, I found that the problem was bad o-ring seal of the brown cylinder where the float needle is inserted. I used some tephlon tape around the seal and that fixed the float level. May be it would save trouble for some of you guys.
