I need some new tires for my GS500. What is a the best of the best tire.

search...lots of tire reviews....
what type of riding depends on what tire to choose
and you didn't specify comuting/racing/sport riding in the twisties/?????

I think that most new tires are "good" in that they should be safe. It's just a matter of longevity or ultimate traction, and ideally at a decent price.

I'll just throw out that I liked the Pirelli Sport Demons, and right now I'm running the Continental RoadAttacks, which I also like, but haven't been able to really run hard on them since its been mostly winter/colder weather since I got them and the mountains I prefer are rather... unsafe at the moment.



Overall, I'd say go with the Sport Demons, you'll be happy.
