Yeah it appears the fuel tank is behind/under the riders butt and the intake is where the fuel normally goes.  It looks like a pretty sick ride, but the center of gravity looks as though it could be a little high.

+1, that is the weak point for me too.  Undertail would have been cool, but with the placement of the fuel where it is maybe not the best idea.

Yes, it comes in yellow. Wakan will paint it any color you want if you'll buy it.  120hp...PUTS DOWN 110lbs!  Their real powerhouses.

I saw these first time on motorbikes.be.  Thought about posting it but figured you all would probably already know about them.

This is so much more beautiful than a monster. The monster has that weaved frame and the rake in front is less.

The waken's frame is almost unnoticable like floating, has sexier looking V-twin, and the flow on the side from the tank to seat to tail is gorgeous. It's like a hybrid chopper streetbike with the front stretched like that.

If anything it looks more like a Buell.

It's a 1640cc Sportster engine.  There's nothing "Buell" about it.  HD won't let Eric get his hands on the real meat motors like this.

hd owns a majority of buell btw, buell or had could get any engine either one of them wants. it would be sweet if there was a stock 1640 sportie  :icon_twisted:

not a sportie engine, its an s&s

"The Wakan 1640 starts with a single spine oil carrying frame, a 54 inch wheelbase, with inverted Ceriani forks mounted at 22 degrees. Power comes from a 100 cubic inch S&S V-Twin producing 115hp and 115 foot pounds of torque and those horses are moving a motorcycle that weighs only 390 pounds with oil, no fuel. The engine sports a single Keihin flatslide carb that gets ram air through a blower type scoop situated above the airbox cover. The fuel tank is below the seat, molded to double as a sort of rear mudguard with the filler mounted on the tailsection."

hd won't give eric any choices.  He gets the 883 and 1200 sportster engines only...he doesn't even get up-to-date management.  I've seen 1200 sportsters, with a K&N, pipes, and a remap put down over 100lbs of torqe.  You can't even remap a buell.

Oh ok...S&S...they said it was an american twin so I just assumed.
