I've got my High-Beam LED fixed, a new 130/70-17 BATTLAX BT-045 fixin' to replace the squared-off victim of the local straight roads, a rear shock that's just broken in and a battery that is all charged up and ready to go.
All I need now all this rain and snow of Michigan (and similar latitudes) to find someone else to bug. March 21st is within reach.
Anybody else been holed-up for too long? Who out there is tired of reading about riding and is ready for the real thing?
I went out and put the gs through some paces for all you cold climate guys today. After work, 64degs. Just 35 miles, but joy!
As usual, not only is the winter weather getting old (even with a late start), but my bike is hundreds of miles away in case of a freak nice day. I really have got to stop moving around and leaving my bike in my parents' garage for the winter :icon_rolleyes:

Thanks. Doesn't make up for the shoveling of snow off the driveway, but appreciate the sentiment. :thumb:

50 feet or 500 miles, neither of us are going riding tomorrow. But when the time comes, think of the fun to ride from parents to Grand Rapids over a weekend. Dress appropriately and it could be a sweet. ;)

Welcome to those with PMS -- Parked Motorcycle Syndrome. The only difference between us in Michigan and you in MA is that you get our winter weather a day later.

I have major PMS!!! I'm getting too growly to live with! My bike needs to go to the painters...maybe i'll see about that this weekend. Tank, fender, tail, headlight and a few other things need to make their way up there...then I gotta drop the motor and paint the frame and the rims. Then I gotta finish the rearset conversion....damn I've got a lot of work to do in three weeks!

You Go Girl!!! Now is the time to do this. You have at least three weeks before enough of that New York snow changes phase and disappears.
Please post before and after Pics of your work. Sounds like it will be worth the effort.

Alpha, at least you get a warm rain. Check out what we in Michigan get for the next 10 days.

At least it'll be pushing 50°F next weekend, if the 10-day forecast has any confidence. Notice it'll be wet here to.
(BTW, thanks for the warmth -- most of the warm spikes we see here comes from the Gulf.)
Hey Pastranna, ManOfTheField,
There is a bike for all seasons:

Now I need a bike attachment just like that only for shoveling off doped out cagers
Where do I get one and how much ;)?
My condolences to those who can't ride because of the snow :o
Woot! AJ helped me tonight clearing space for my tear down. We cleared a good chunk of space so that it'll sit undisturbed. Wired up the rearsets so I could see the fit and what the feel was like...didn't move the pegs that much, but just enough I think. I've got to fit them so they can go off to be painted...things are finally starting to get moving! SM2s are on, windshield is tacked on, waiting on a few more parts and we'll be all set!
