Title: Fuel Leak
Post by: TheBandit181 on March 09, 2007, 01:51:26 PM
It was a beautiful day and my first day home for my (last   :) ) spring break.  I decided to pull the GS out and get it ready for the spring, maybe even get a quick ride in...  Well, to my chagrin I noticed that my idle was extremely high (stuck choke cable, no prob) and I have a fuel leak.  :o
I pulled the tank and it seems to be coming from the lower T-fitting on the carbs, I believe this is the inlet.  The hose from the fitting to the lowest point is covered in fuel and drips, when running, onto the crankcase.  Also, the entire T-fitting is soaked in fuel.  Is/are there a seal(s) that need replaced, or is there something else I should look for?  Any ideas? It is a 1993 by the way.

The T-fitting will need to be replaced, and that's all that I can think of.

There's also a seal on either side of the T.  They're relatively cheap.
