This video sucks but fast forward to about 2:50 and check out this gs500f's speed. Almost 200kph! Now my wifes GS has 60+k and no doubtedly is tired but, i didn't think a stock gs would hit that speed. I was surprised when i had a zzr250 to 160kph, for some reason i find this more surprising.

indicated, and actual... very different.
you were going some where between 160 and 180.
Thanks tips, not me in the video though. Let me refrase my question. The point was: Has anybody ever driven their gs to a speed that was indicated at almost 200 kph?
I've done indicated 115 pretty easily on the freeway. I've got 24K miles, in-spec valves, rejetted with pod filters and the stealth black Yosh pipe, so it's about as good as a stock carb'ed GS is going to get.
Looks like i've got myself a goal to break 200 then. Km of coarse.
You can try to pass 200KM/hr but around 180 to run out of power. I have mine rejetted and k&N, nothing fancy but still not enough power to move me any faster. That's why I am upgrading to an R6 in the spring.
I'm converting from mph but I hit 185+kph pretty routinely on the highway. Not trying to brag or show off, just saying that it can be done. I'm usually in a pretty tight crouch and I weigh about 67kg.

I upgraded from a GS500 to an R6. I only ever pushed the GS to its top speed once (110 indicated... which was probably around 93-97 mph actual). I, however, am not nearly stupid enough to push my R6 to its top speed (~140 mph actual). The fastest I have had it go was 90 mph for a short burst on the highway (get around a truck).
Too easy for something to go wrong at that speed.
