actually figured it out. the older one has a 3.71:1 and the newer has a 4.03:1 not much change really
3.71 = 14.939...mph @2870rpm which is the same RPM at 70.157...mph in OD
4.03 = 13.752...mph @2870rpm "
I will be mating this all to a 3.73 axle. which is where I got the above ratio's from using the wheel and tire size of 195/60/R15 which is almost the same as the 185 stock tire and wheel size.
