Title: Vance & Hines full exhaust VS. Jardine full exhaust

Anyone have personal experience with both full systems ? What are the key differences between them ? Which is quieter ? Which flows better ? etc, etc, etc....

The Jardine is a straight through system with no protruding seams or joins to reduce flow. You can't go too wrong with the Jardine.

I have both systems.  I have used both on the track, and there is no difference in power that I can tell.  The V&H has a bit throatier sound, although at full throttle they both are pretty loud.  The Jardine is much easier to live with because of drain and filter access, and it won't rust.  I would buy the Jardine if I had to choose between the two, although I like the sound of the V&H a little better.

Are you talking about the newer Jardine system, or the old small-can one?

Wow thanks for the great responses guys, it seems like it would be worthe the extra $100 for the Jardine system for sure now. I mean, how can you beat rust proof stainless and aluminum. Not to mention the whole drop/loosen the exhaust for an oil change deal. I could see where that may wear out the threads in the aluminum head over time especially if your are like me and like to tighten things til they brake   :o Really the only reason I was considering the V&H was price, so.... Now thats solved  8)

Are you talking about the newer Jardine system, or the old small-can one?

I have an older system (headers are not stainless) but the can is bigger than the V&H.  Did they make the can even bigger?  I already drag the front of the muffler on the track at full lean.

Here's the current setup. I don't think I've ever knowingly seen a photo of the older one to compare it to, though I've seen it listed for sale.

Same muffler as the older systems, but the upgrade to the SS headers is a nice touch.
