Title: i just came back to GS5's from a car break
Post by: phast.phil on March 18, 2007, 08:21:57 PM
HI all, i just came back to bikes from a spell as a car driver (fed up with taxes and traffic!) and found myself a clean and tidt '97 with only a thousand miles on it... only problem i've got is a flat spot at about a quater throttle... just off throttle is ok and wide open is ok just that quater throttle moment, it seems to be the right hand cylinder and i think it might be carb related but beyond that i'm in the dark,
any help would be mucho appreciated.

what jetting is in it?

in the end i put the bike back into the shop under the warranty they gave me....
mechanic checked all the pipes connections etc and raised the needles by one notch.

perfect! bikes really good now even in our nasty climate (south east England)
