It is from an 04, pretty close to perfect. $15 + shipping.
I do not have a need for the clip-ons but someone here probably would.
Thats what i want ,
Can You Find Out How Much Shipping Would Be To The Uk?
Thank You

Most people are after the 89 clip ons, not the later one's like we got in Oz & Europe.
I take it your 96 has these..

You are not listening and getting giddy. I said it in the last post and am going to remind you again. You cannot fit the USA spec top yolk and Renthal bars without losing the UK spec fork adjusters and you need to recognise this fact. Owing to their height the adjusters will prevent the bars from being clamped in the correct position. look at the pics in the "Drag bar" thread started by Wilgarn and you will see what I mean. Our UK clip-ons are raised above the top yolk as shown in the pics posted by s4gs. I dont wish to sound patronising but you really should consider this fact before parting with any cash. The Americans dont get the adjustable forks like we do, hence the difference in top yolks. My view is you have no real alternative other than in addition to the USA spec yolk you also get a pair of USA spec fork caps that fit flush with the top yolk and do not have the adjustment facility. However you might be able to hacksaw the adjuster stems off if you are happy to do this.
Something else to consider, if you intend to fit hi-rise bars will the control cables, brake line, cabling etc still be long enough to allow you to do it and not foul or pinch on full lock?
Weak DUDE. . Damn it , I hate the Bars I Have Now , like , i want a Streetfighter , and my Streetfighter Ideas. Are Renthol Bars,, hmm damn it , So , Grr, Why Did They Not Give Us These.. suzuki must have forseen , The Best Gs Streetfighter Was Going To Be Born In 2007
and they made it so it wont look right ,,,, Any Other Suggesstions how i could get the look maybe ?
Btw Thanks For Being Blunt... Thank You
What About if i got a us plate , took my top plate of , cut holes for the risers ,. welded them on underneaththne let them poke thro , ive seen bars that i wood say , are the same height as the clipones, if not shorter, then surely the cables woodnt matter ... thanks agen
get us top plate
get a spare set of bar clamps and 4 longer clamp bolts
then thake the extra set anf place under the bars to raise the bars up.....
I've got the top triple AND a spare pair of fork caps from a pair of '02 forks that are trash (but the caps are OK).. you can have both for $20 + shipping.. I have no way of estimating shipping to the UK, though, if you figure it out, they're yours (Srinath, look for the paypal refund soon, check should clear the bank on Monday... farging 3 day waiting period)

There is no easy way or "How to method" for converting your GS into a s-fighter. You are going to have some issues along the way. The s-f scene is not as big in the USA as it is in the UK. The guys in here will help and offer advice but its you doing the work and making the decisions. What makes it harder is that there are next to no s-f parts/accessories available for the GS, unlike the Bandit which is regarded as one of the s-fighters favourites.
I would take niceguy up on his offer of the top yolk and non-adjuster caps, its the easiest way and then the conversion is just nuts and bolts with no welding/cutting/grinding etc. I do seriously think the cables etc may be to short for hi-rise bars particularly the brake hose. Talking of brakes the front reservoir may also be a problem, its angled and with hi-rise bars you might not be able to remove the lid without leaning the bike over. Dont forget if anything fouls or prevents the steering from going lock-to-lock its an MOT failure and Plod loves pulling modded bikes. Having said all that its not impossible and solving problems and issues is part of the fun!!!
What other mods do you intend to make?
