I recently realized that my lights reach for cager's rear-view mirrors instead of the ground when riding 2-up. I've adjusted the headlight, but unfortunately, there really isn't much room for adjustment. Anybody else have this problem? I think headlights are supposed to drop about 2-inches for every 25ft... mine climb 2inches when 2 up, and maybe drop 1 inch with me on it. I've got a sylvannia xtravision h4, but that shouldn't matter.
What do you think? Excuse for a rear shock upgrade :lol:

Are you talking the little adjustment screws in the headlight ring or the screw underneigth that holds it in the vertical axis?
A Katana 600 shock would help out a lot. Cheap upgrade if you can find a used one on Ebay or someplace. I got mine for $27.51 including shipping from Ebay.
By the way, how do you like the light output of that bulb? I use the Sylvania Siverstar and I like it a lot.
I'm talking about loosening the 2 lateral bolts east and west of the light assembly and aiming the light down forcefully. I thought that the manual said that the single little adjustment screw was for horizontal adjustment. The other two screws on the ring of the light were to pop the glass reflector off.
I'm going for another night ride now; generally I feel that the light it aimed too high even with just me on it. Makes the trees very lit up during nighttime twisties :roll:

On the right side, between the headling bucket and the handlebars is a screw that you have to loosen to adjust the vertical aim of the headlight. This and the 2 on the sides that you loosened before. It won't be as forceful this way. :thumb:
