Title: WTB: Peter Pan peanut butter...seriously...
Post by: makenzie71 on March 26, 2007, 04:12:46 PM
Lots of it.  Anyone near a store that has any?  There's none within 300 miles of me.

Trying my hand at smuggling haha

Not to sound like a hippy but you should try the Smukers Natural peanut butter.  When you first open it, the oil will have separated from the butter, so pop off the top and microwave it for like 6 seconds then stir it good and bam.  Just like regular peanut butter.. but better.  And the ingredients are:  Peanuts, salt.    and thats it.  Take it or leave it, just thought I would suggest it.

Not to sound like an ass but I don't think anyone insisting on Peter Pan peanut butter has many health concerns.

No one out there can get peter pan?

I'd take a dozen of those 1qt jars.  Stores in your neck got peter pan, brian?  I only went so far south as Memphis and found nothing.  Hell some towns didn't have peanut butter at all.

Yup. Tons of it here. I don't have a membership to any of the massive bulk stores though, so pricing wouldn't be all that great unless there was a sale. Wal-Mart, maybe...

I'll see if I can make it this weekend, though remember: I am notoriously slow getting stuff shipped sometimes.

No it just leaves out everything that's made of crap.  They're all almost entirely made of corn...most people don't know it but mammals don't really process corn very well.  There's nothing in it a dog can use and it passes right through.

The best stuff you can get from the average store is Nutro.  It's about the only thing I can get here and I feed my huskies Nutro Natural Choice Lamb and Rice.  It cost about twice as much as the ol roy shaZam! but you only feed half as much.

Yeah I feed my 10 year old lab Nutro and a couple of scrambled eggs every morning.  Still acts like a puppy.  Just took him on an 8 mile hike in the mountains upstate and he kicked my ass the whole time!!!!
