Title: shock cantilever bearings
Post by: Boris on March 27, 2007, 11:30:12 AM
My local shop just quoted me £90 for the four bearings and the spacer in the rear shock cantilever. I can make the spacers and save some money, but I don't want to pay that much for a few needle rollers. Does anyone know what size these things are or where I can get oem parts?

Any bearing supply store can get them. Last time I needed some, I took the old bearings in and they figured out what I needed.

Bearings are standard items, never pay the OEM prices. Like DG says just tek the old ones to a bearing factor, offer to pay cash, it always helps. I got all six needle rollers for £15. If you are talking about the spacers that fit inside the bearings you might find they are hardened and finished ground.
