Hi all, I rang to book my MOST and was told that i could only get 2 dates at Macarthur and Penrith a few days before my 'L's ran out, but if i went to Granville/Clyde there were plenty of spots available BUT it would be on FRIDAY 13th! no wonder there was room. Looking forward to riding over 80km legally!
Has anyone done thier MOST at Granville? where do they take you on the Road?
Cheers.
I did mine at Macarthur, where they take you out onto Menangle Road, which is a hell of a lot better (and more fun) then any place they can do around granville/clyde...
The actual ride isn't part of the MOST. The MOST only consists of low speed riding, and is a pretty easy test on the GS. (of course, if you're a crazy person on the road during the ride, the instructor will still make you fail the course...)
did mine at granville about 5 years ago they take you through some factory back streets then on to the main road there then back along some housing areas all very easy and quite roads except for the main road. I also found the instuctors there alot better there then where I did my L's at where ever that was North side I think but there a good bunch at granville :thumb:
Okay I'll post the stupid question, what is the MOST. I'm guessing that it's the riding test to get off your P's?
bubba, you beat me to it.

correct:
Motorcycle Operators Skills Test
just another way to fleece you of $148.00 plus another $17.00 to put your P on your license, luckily i'm an old....I mean MATURE age rider so i will be unrestricted except for pillions.

I heard they take you onto the single lane bridge at Cataract Gorge, the '1X Vehicle at a time bridge' to try to catch you out. Nice area for a ride.

Thanks. I'm not up to speed on the current licencing system.
When I got my licence I did a couple of laps around the RTA carpark to show that I can go 10 meters without falling off & then once around the block.
Also when I first got my licence it was a paper licence :flipoff:
hey old man, did mine at granville a couple years ago, and it was still as lukewarm said.
we had a pretty cool chickie taking us through our paces, and she handled the one young guy that failed really well, and talked him into some extra training.
did all my training down there and can't speak highly enough of my experience.
bd.
Hi guys,
Friday the 13th :icon_twisted: lived up to its name today, got stuck in the bingle at Mays Hill this morning, 2.5kms of slow riding practice before my MOST, almost late, 1.5hrs from Woodford to Clyde! still, all went well so i'm now a full rider but no pillion for a year.
In total from 20, 4 guys failed (that i know of), 3 young ladies dropped thier bikes in practice but still passed, and all instructors lived another day.
One more licence update and its all in the past.
Cheers, OldMan :thumb:
