how do the saddlebags for a gs mount up?

one on the left and one on the right work the best.  :lol:

depends on which brand model you are refering too...

I bought the TourMaster Cortech saddlebags with attaching tail bag. Straps support bags over the seat and other straps attach to convenient positions such as the pillion foot pegs.

I am very satisfied with the way they attach--securely and with no worries about interfering with any moving parts.  :)

BTW I remember seeing some hard luggage on one of Kerry's bikes.  You might want to get his opinion on that.

My first saddlebags were the same soft-sided TourMaster Cortech set that Phil mentioned.  I highly recommend them.  If you want to see the hard luggage that I went with later, go to my Riderhaus Luggage Page (http://www.bbburma.net/Riderhaus.htm)

I imagine that different soft luggage brands will mount in slightly dfferent ways.  Do you have a particular set that you're having trouble with?
