I went to court this morning. Judge was late. So another judge started role-calling the defendants. She left, and 15 minutes later OUR judge walked in.
Asshat's laywer stated that asshat admitted to hitting my motorcycle. Asshat lawyer then stated that he talked to the repair shop that gave me the estimate and stated that the exhaust ($1,062.57 part) is only SCRATCHED and requested the judge to depreciate the cost of the exhaust.
As soon as I informed the judge that asshat was driving without ANY insurance coverage, he rolled his eyes and ruled in my favor.
I'm getting a $2200 check directly from the probation office, and asshat will have to pay THEM back.
