Title: Bypassing question
Post by: rraiderr on April 03, 2007, 10:07:09 PM
I am trying to determine if I have a bad pepcock or fuelcock.

By running the bike in prime does that effectively bypass the fuelcock? If not any suggestions on how to rule this out?

How do you determine if the pepcock is bad?

Thanks.

Running in PRI position bypasses the vacuum system for the petcock, so it's entirely gravity fed. If you've got a clog somewhere in the line, it might still give you troubles.

If there is a prob. w/ your diaphram in the petcock you still may have trouble. you can take the vac. line off and cap it. then remove the diaphram and try it  :thumb:
