Title: Any advantage to using 93 octane in a GS500?

Wasted Money.They are designed to run on 87.

Weird though that the manual that came with my bike says it shouldn't have anything lower than 91, I've used regular (87 i think) for the last 3 years with no problem.  :dunno_white:

that says Fuel: RON 90.

I took this to mean minumum 90 octane.
