Do they hit the tank at all?

What are you going to do with the top of that tripple?

how close are they to the farings? it looks like you rotated the levers back to keep them from hitting the plastics.

wait a second... did you mount the clipons upside-down??? with a 7 degree UP angle?

the way they are adjusted and positioned they dont hit the tank even at full lock but they do come very close :icon_twisted:.they are close to the fairings but not too close to where i hit my hands when giving it gas or turning. the controls did have to be mounted different so the bottom will not hit the fairings. all in all im happy to me its very comfy but in time might get hard on my back, the top triple will come off and i will make another one so i can mount the gauges.

not upside down from the instructions you can mount them two was at a down angle(too much for me) and and a 1degree up angle. i did the up angle but when riding they feel flush with the triple so yeah i did mount them upside down. but from reading the directions their is no right side up or upside down both have the W logo and can be mpunted anyway you like.

WOOOW this is exactly what I want!!  :D I can handle this for sure

Please pleasee give me a simple/general step-by-step of what needs to be done to do this so I know what I'm in for...seems pretty easy...forks don't need to be dropped since its under the triples right?  Also expand about the mods to the controls, what had to be done there?
This is exactly what I want...do you have more pics of this pls

You have any links to clip-ons? (for cheapest price possible pls)

check the "For Sale" section on the forum, they pop up from time to time.

That's quite  an interesting way of mounting them you've got there. ;)

1. In the pic, are the 2 distance equal?  Is that what I should be looking at when installing the clipons on top...to see if I'll need to change the fork height or not?

SO just take off the top plate, and put the clipons under those 2 top fork screws? Without any need for adjusting forks?
Also, please someone tell me the measurement of the arrows on the vortex clip on (the part which clips onto the fork)

2. HOW do you change the fork height??

No they are not equal, if you mount them on top you will need to remove top plate and loosen all the pinch bolts and push the top plate(black one) down then install on top.  I do not recommend installing them this way unless you change the way the controls sit. vortex you will need to remove the top plate to install under the plate woodcraft you do not the are two pieace clamps vortex is one pieace.

Yea I'll probably just do 89 clip-ons for simplicity OR clubmans if they work (cut some tubing off the end) OR SM2 (but too pricey) OR dragbars (know anything about these?)

I think its worth the trouble to put them above the triple., it a lot of extra work but its fun! I can't imagine riding the way you have them.
