Title: EX500 Build
Post by: Mk1inCali on April 18, 2007, 12:24:39 AM
So, I've got a line through an acquaintance that has a completely disassembled '91 EX500.  He's gotten too lazy with bikes to re-assemble it.

Engine is down to the cases, he's got new bearings and rings and all.  All of it is supposedly there, he wants $200 for it.

Clean, current title, current registration.

I've got a garage, time and tools.  Should I risk it?  This could effectively pay for a new laptop, which I need because a fan blade dropped onto my iBook's screen.

Also, any idea on what a year old iBook 12" is worth, sans screen?

I'd be building the bike to resell, to pay for a NEW computer!

You can get an ibook screen on ebay for less than $200...

If all else fails, you could easily part it for more than $200. For that cheap, all parts included, I'd be all over it.
