Title: 15 tooth info & jetting info ???
Post by: highnoonhunter on April 18, 2007, 09:59:07 AM
Hey all,

I have a couple more newbie questions.

Does anyone have a part# for a 15 tooth front sprocket for a 2004 GS 500f?
I'd like to find one on ebay if possible.

Also, I know this next question has been answered a zillion times. But the more I search, the more confused I get. I kinda ignert that way..................... :cookoo:

Anyway, I actually have two more questions on the subject of jetting:

What is the stock jetting for an '04??

And, my bike is running a tad lean, so what do you guys suggest for re-jetting?

Thanks in advance!

Give us some more details on your bike.  Is it completely stock?

Also the forum has a search feature, jetting has been discussed many times, look for something simmilar to what you have and go from there

Yep, my bike is completely stock.

Oh, and I did a search and found where Roadstergal listed: main=130, mid=60, and pilot=17.5
But I'm unsure if that's the stock jetting that comes in the bike, or if that's the size jets one needs to "re-jet" a stock bike????
