This is the ride I did yesterday afternoon. 320km, calgary through the highwood pass. It may be one of the most gorgous rides anywhere. Tell me what you think. Check out a few of the pics especially #11, and 32, they have my bike in them.

That is definatley a moose in the water. They scary bastards! So big, so ugly.
The roads up there are so empty most of the time, well relativley at least. All you have to be cautious of, is animals on the roads, and hitting a texas gate the wrong way at 100mph like i did yesterday. That scared me!
I need a vacation in Calgary!
I would encourage everyone to someday bring their bikes to Calgary. The riding is unreal! How many people can enjoy scenery like that 25 mins from their front door, including filling up for a little liquid dinosaur?

What is the average temps this time of year?
Right now, the temp is 33 degrees celcius, so high 80's i guess. thats pretty typical. in the pass where i was, its about 5 degrees cooler, maybe 10 in the shade of a 10000 ft mountain
