Title: rear tire modification
Post by: nastynate6695 on April 20, 2007, 07:03:15 AM
I know with a lot of work you can put an old gsxr 89  rear tire on the back of your bike.  this is because it has the 4.5 instead of the 5.5 diameter.  I found a 88 gsxr tire with the same diameter.  Will this work as well?

So the cush drive is the same for both years of the 750 gsxr and the rim is 4.5. so with a lot of modification i can get a bigger tire on my bike?

when I did my gsxr wheel swap...pablo's site....
the SV and kat had just come out
all the SV people were buying up the kat rims for race spares....rain tires
and I could afford a GSXR rim.....

now they are about the same price
gsxr...curved spoke
kat ....straight spoke
