Title: DMV question
Post by: mach1 on April 21, 2007, 09:20:24 AM
I have a truck that is sitting in my backyard, The registration has been expired since Dec. It got two tickets since then one for expired tags and parking with no permit. Tickets have not been payed yet nor has the registration. My question is do i just pay what the letter says pay then send the money and renewel card in the mail and thats that or do i have to do anything else? Im going to pay the tickets after i renew the truck but i can afford both.

cause I'm betting it wasn't always parked in his backyard.

Did you get a renewal notice in the mail?

Check on the CA DMV website

http://www.dmv.ca.gov/online/vrir/vr_top2.htm

IF you have your registration paperwork, on the left hand side, there should be an online registration code that you can check to see how much you need to pay, and you can even pay online without the hassle of having to go into the DMV or wait for it to get mailed there, then mailed back to you.... took like 3 days for me to get my stickers in the mail.

yeah I got the ticket when the car was on the street. I went online and called and it said I'm not able to like I said the truck has been late for about 5 months i can even file PNO but what I am asking is will they charge me for both ticket and the regisrtation or just the registration?
