Title: Kat Shock Blown?
Post by: stockstang on April 21, 2007, 12:33:03 PM
Ok I just installed my 96 Kat 600 shock and dissapointingly enough I think it maybe blown. When I bounce on the bike the shock makes a lot of swishy wishy sounds. Is this normal or what? I must say it is a drastic improvement over the stock blown GS. At 185 what kind of preload rebound setting should I be dialed in at?

So should there be any sound coming from the shock or should it be quiet?

Mine make a swishy swishy sound and I dont think it blown :dunno_white:

If you crank up the dampening what happens, does it get super stiff and make dampening like you cant move it barely?
