Title: fuel injected gs project
Post by: ohgood on April 22, 2007, 05:20:59 AM
I did a breif search about fuel injecting a gs, and haven't found much. I wonder if anyone (other than a crazy turbo'd gs) has done it ?

surely there is some yahoo with no kids, girlfriend, wife, s.o., and enough ca$h and brains to cobble together a setup or die trying ?

it's a slow sunday i guess.

Tell me about it!

Ive ridden lots of bikes in my time and to be honest (people are guna beat me for saying this! ) I prefer Carbs to FI.

I find FI bikes harder to work on/mod and also find that the more digital trickery is in there the more expensive it is to fix!

I know I know. People say it's silly to pour that much money into an older (and just fine running mostly, thank you) bike. I guess I'm looking at it as an improvement. Some folks change tires, shocks, springs, slipper clutches, etc.

I want the smoothest fueling I can get. I don't really want a 4 cylinder. I really don't want a brand new bike (ok, i do, just not payments).

After the googling bit I gave up and posted some emails to fuel injection modification shops (speed shops) and asked for pointers.

Guess it's the only way.

I know what you mean but just imagine the costs!

Anybody you spoke to considered it feasable? Could be interesting.... 8)
