When it comes to spiders, snakes & lizards I'm a real girl.

I can put up with Huntsman around the house, it's the Redbacks, Whitetails, Funnellwebs & the such that I don't really like. Ok I hate them.

Hmmm...I should post a pic of the ugly pointy ones that live on my patio.  They don't bother me, so I let them exist peacefully.  I'm sure they eat mosquitos.

Sometimes they build a web in my pathway and I have to "move" the web.  They usually learn the first time I move it...pretty smart little buggers!

How do you move a web?  They are usually anchored at 4 or 5 points, and I usually just pull a couple anchor points and wrap them around something more suitable.   The next day, they have reinforced the anchor points I moved.   Again, pretty smart!   They earned my respect.

When I lived in Southern Oregon in a college dorm someone found a couch outside and dragged it in.

Later this guy and his roommate freaked out when they found eight (*8*) of these suckers living in it. I think they used a whole can of RAID. I dont think they got rid of the couch either. "Dude... get rid of that thing." "No, no, it's cool. We got em all. Look... eight of them..."

I think it's a Wolf spider, but I'm not sure.

I wish I could get my hair to stand up like that.
