Hello all,
I've finished repainting my '96 GS (bright yellow this year).
When taking off the front mudguarg i just unscrewed 8 bolts on top ant took it of. Now do I have to take off the front wheel to fit it back? Or my arm is just too thick to fit between tire ant mudguard to hold the nuts?
Thanks...
Andrew
even if you hand does fit in between the fender and tire the fender still won't slide into place with both fork tubes attached.
Have to take the tire off bolt the fender to the fork brace then re-instlall the tire.

yea, I just had to do that a few weeks ago.
me to oops! had to take the wheel off.
You can epoxy nuts or a tapped plate to the bottom of the fender to be able to remove/install the fender without removing the wheel.
