Title: Weekend Ride in Pittsburgh

I am still pretty new to the GS forum...But does anyone live in or near pittsurgh and want to go for a ride this weekend. :thumb:

Im like about an hour from Pitt.  :icon_mrgreen: I cant ride this weekend though, but there is a HUGE rally comming up you should come out here  :thumb:

Where can I get the info for the rally?

Jake where you live at?  Im in Mt. Lebo...if you need help with your bike let me know. Im not the best mechanic but I can drink beer and talk about fixing it with the best of em.

I live over in West Mifflin, close to the Waterfront and Kennywood.  I got a  relay from someone on the board, but apparently they changed them over the years and it doesn't look like it will work with mine.  It's about time someone else from the Burgh showed up here.

I used to go over to West Mifflin all the time...I was a member at Duquesne Golf Club (now WestWood) for a couple years when I was in high school. Im up on Washington Road (aka rt 19, aka West Liberty) near the Saloon.

What kind of relay did you get? What is the relay for and why does it not work other than the fact that it changed over the years.

Sorry if those are dumb questions in advance...I have only had a bike for a month.

I live near the burgh, but I am in philly on business this weekend :( Maybe some other time though. I am always looking to go riding with someone new :)

I lived in Mt Lebenon when I went to the Art Institute  :thumb:

The rally is here in Johnstown, PA about an hr east of Pittsburgh

There are over 150,000 bikes every year. TONS of stuff to do  :thumb: Too much to mention... 4 days long  :icon_twisted:

my brother got married at that rally like 3 or 4 years ago. They interviewed them on the local news.

I live in McDonald, 20 min. or so outside Pittsburgh.  However, bike is currently uninsured, uninspected, unregistered, and I'm unliscensed... But when I get legal, all us SW PA er's should get a ride together...

I am down for riding anytime...once you guys get back to town, fix your bikes, and insure register license. Let me know when you can ride and we'll set something up.
