does anyone know if a 89 ignition and gas cap will fit an 05 im in real big need of these to parts and that the only year i cna find
I think it would. Hardly anything has changed over the years.
Yes they will fit. Somewhere in the time line, they added a second tab on the gas cap to prevent vandelous removal, does not affect fit. The only problem you will find with older gas caps is that the seals may be cracking. Most (if not all) of Suzuki's sport bikes share the same gas cap. I know the GSXR cap has changed in the recent years which is easily seen.
