bought an oil filter today. Drained everything only to find the filter i bought looks nothing like the old one. the new one is similar to a car one, pressed steel sides and end. is this right or should i whip it back to my dealer tomorrow?????
And throw it as hard as you can at the knuckle-head parts guy who sold it to you.
He probabaly only heard "suzuki" and gave you the generic spin on that is used on all late model suzuki bikes...

NAPA Gold filter number is 4931 if that helps. I had the same thing happen to me the first time I asked for one. I got to NAPA and they handed me a spin on. They then had to have the correct one shipped in the next day.
