Hey, at least you don't have to hump 3" hose up 53 flights of stairs. Just ride up! :icon_mrgreen:
I don't think that thing will enjoy stairs very much, you know, ground clearance and all.
A supermoto, on the other hand...
24 views and only one comment? I guess it wasn't as funny as I thought.
So how many firecycles does your department have? :icon_razz:
Stop trying to turn this into a supermoto thread Alpha. You have plenty of supermoto threads to hang out in. Leave my thread alone!

Check, check and on accident once.
SM's are great on stairs...its the little 90 degree turn at the landing that is tricky.

Yeah, possibly, but if all else fails you can pretty easily do a circle burnout to straighten yourself up...

hah! really thats not a half bad idea for fire/rescue... I remember seeing a yamaha xt225 that the japanese use for response after earthquakes and stuff... pretty nifty idea :) (as long as its a dual sport :) )
hahaha! It's got a back bumper. wonder how it handles a fender bender?
Makes me think of that motorcycle ambulance.

If the motorcycle ambulance doesn't work out for you there's always the hayabusa hearse:

bike haulin firehose, a fireman WITH gear? up stairs which are usually 45 degrees? a supermoto with usually streetish looking tread, i repeat myself, it would not work too well
i take that back stairs which go up at around a 45 deg. angle, WITH 45 deg cuts into them ( in most highrises)

Why does their ambulance rider have knee pucks? What does he think he's going to do?
possibly maybe he can go to work in casual dress.
