Title: aftermarket brake / clutch levers?
Post by: mattress on May 04, 2007, 10:46:10 AM
trying to personalize the bike a little bit.
I bought a used 99 gs500E off someone.  the levers aren't very pretty ... they're pitted/tarnished.

I'm looking around (ebay) and can't find anything specifically for the GS500.  I was wondering if our levers are interchangable with like the GSXR or katana levers?

I was thinking about getting a set of anodized or polished.

And while I'm at it... how about a new brake reservoir cap, or any other matching dress up items?

Thanks for the help!

shoot them a email they probally know what levers will match the GS, they used to have some before the redesigned their website.

Or you could just get new lvl's and get them powdercoated.

The GS clutch lever is specific to the GS. The brake lever is shared by the TL, SV, GSXR (up to the addition of radial brakes)
