the engine is at the moment not modified ... first i need new money ... at the moment i'm a student :-(

the next mod to the engine is an oil cooler. if that works properly i'll try to get some extra horse power ;-)

I think oil cooling has been discussed and dismissed as impractical :dunno_white:  Love the R1............reminds me of that rossi interview  ' more ready for accelerate'

My Mac has a pretty good translator.......I'll check out that site a little later :thumb: :thumb:

"*note to self - find a german class and learn german, that site has TONS of info*"

you can go to google and enter his site (www.gs-500.de) as the search criteria and google will give you the option to translate the page.  It isn't the best, but its better than complete german!

We should do a "Bike of the Month" like they do on SVrider and DucatiMonster.org!  That would be VERY cool...

Wow.  That is bad ass, I am considering a tail-swap for my gs (Keep people from asking for a ride amongst other considerations), and I love your exhaust.  I am a moderate rider, so having the weight of the pipe(s) up a bit higher wouldn't really cause me any difficulties. What cans did you use, and did you fab your own pipes?

All I can say is......WOW :icon_mrgreen:

That bike looks amazing.  It's pictures like these that make me want to keep my gs500e and modify the crap out of it.  I dont think it's much of a looker stock, but with some mods, the gs is one ofthe sickest streetfighters I have seen and some members of this site have amazing bikes.   Are you able to carry a passenger?  I just got a new bike (03 636) and I miss riding the gs because of the mpg.  I definitely like the extra power of an inlineIIII though.  Im starting to fall in love with the sv50 also that is a beautiful bike.  I am so glad I started on a gs500e.  If my 500 looked anything like yours it would attract as much attention as a race replica bike.  And I love the color orange.  If I could have found one, I would have bought an orange 636.
