I'm looking for a combo 56k/lan pcmcia card that's low profile enough that I can still use the other pcmcia slot on my dell laptop. Do such critters exist?
Just get one of each...

I thought about it because I can only use one at a time anyway...if I do that I'll just get the pieces off ebay for a whopping $11.14 shipped to get both lol. I just wanted to find out if there was anything a little more compact. This computer gets dragged along with me everywhere and the less I need to carry with it the better.
I'm also looking for slim speakers that are decent. My cpx's speakers suck...
I did a quick search... It costs almost nothing for one of each... So... Yeah.... There... You ..... ... GO......

Logitech makes a portable speaker system designed for iPods and other MP3 players. I got one last year for my little sister as an Xmas gift.
I was amazed at the quality coming from such a small thing... And don't fret the iPod in the middle... There's a standard audio cable that hooks up into the back and plugs into ANY audio souce with the plug.
phillips shoqbox puts out the best sound I've ever heard from a small, battery powered system. And cheap, too.
Get an MP3 player.... And... Some headphones...
Wait...
When did I catch Srinath's Disease? ... ... ... .. . . . . ... .. :icon_confused:
^that's a great fix for when I'm playing x-com and want to hear the game.
