So I took my bike to the shop yesterday to get the frork seal's replaced. I got the bike today rode home washed it, Later I went to the bank and looked down and noticed it was leaking again WTF. Im going to take it back tomarrow and make him do it again, also when I got the bike back my clip-ons where in different positions( one arm normal the other positiond like i was making a right hand turn :icon_rolleyes: idiots.
Be nice. Just explain that the work done is no good and exactly what they need to do to correct it. Don't go in with an attitude. :nono:
My forks went bad at 4,400 miles...they fixed 'em under warranty. 8,000 miles now and no further problems.
attutude is not needed with this guy. The owner is a real nice guy but not good at worksmanship, this is that same guy who straighened my front forks and put the tire on off center he also cleaned my carbs and forgot to synce and put the vent hose back on the tank. siiiiiiiiiggggggggghhhh I need to make more time to work on the bike myself.
Check the slider on your fork for nicks..
Hmmmm sounds like Leak proof Seals to me.Check and See if they did use them.If they did use Leak Proof have them replace them with Originnal Suzuki Seals. :thumb:
thier is a nick on the slider but only where it clamps to the lower fork brace. Im not sure what kinda seals they used but they were $30, I went back today and he said he will order the seals again and call me so when he does I will ask to see what kind they are.
I bet they're as upset as you are.....
I had some work done and a fuel line got cut. When I brought it back I thought the mechanic was gonna poo in his pants when he saw it. He was more freaked out than I was... (Can you say fear of Wrongful Death suit?) :icon_confused:
