Title: Yeay new parts...
Post by: nastynate6695 on May 10, 2007, 07:49:09 PM
Oh joy....my parts came in :icon_twisted:..  now im in a debate on what to do.,,,

Bought a 99 katana rear wheel off ebay $100.. came with a sprocket, rotor, and a tire (needs to be replaced)..The sprocket though is a 47 tooth.. :o Ive searched the forum and found that others have run across this as well   (yes Turd  i learned how to use the search button)
My problem starts on wether to keep it or buy one that is a little smaller then the 47 but bigger then the 39.  I want more torque and dont care about riding on the highway as much.  I was going to throw a 14 tooth on the front and stay with stock back (i know turd the gs sprocket will not fit on the katana) .  But now.... im  not sure what move to make. :dunno_white:

Also bought a kn lunchbox from jeggs..havent opened it yet.  I cant remember if i have to charge it or if it comes charged.  I think i have to charge it..  Anybody back me up on this one.

Also has anybody installed an enduro headlight on their bike..??  if so how hard was it.?

Oh Turd i forgot to mention ....I dont nor do i ever plan on having  kids...

I would not use the 47....unless you like wheelies. Personally I like 15/41.

The filters come charged.
