Title: Is this Rich or Lean.
Post by: mach1 on May 10, 2007, 08:00:46 PM
So I did I rejet today I went with 22.5/60.142.5 and running a Slip-on can and Uni pods filters. the bike idles great when I rev it the RPM's go up even but go down slow(only hangs sometimes) and when i go from a take off it boggs and makes some funky noise(never happened before) to stop the noise I pull in the clutch a little and give it somemore throttle and that seems to help. Any ideas why I have both lean and rich symtoms. unsure of the mixture screw at this point, It was 3.25 but it bogged really bad so I kept tweaking them till I got it at a decent amount.

The O-rings should be fine I didnt take the caps off just the bowls. I think I may need to order the 65Mid. How do you shim the needles? I have taken off the slides off before and turned them over but they didnt fall out and I dont wanna force them out. Lean I though it was rich Im going to ride it today and see how it really feels and go from their.

Dude you have been alot of help. Tomarrow Im going to try putting the stock air box back on and see what that does. And as far as the mixture srew goes, It is all that way out(did that today) no luck just got rid of the down low bogging but i still have a hesitation and random rpm's.
