The little college professor on my shoulder said........SPAM!!!!!!!
spam? that seems like an awfully good deal to me!
Might be spam but its got some good deals.
if Oz is a spammer, the fact that he got the tire sizes right means we should buy from him :icon_razz:
Yeah not a good street tire, and are 150/60R17 so good luck ever getting to the edge.
If you are doing trackdays or racing then they are a good tire :thumb:

http://www.motorace.com/
I was gonna purchase tires from there? Is it legit any complaints
and why was the post deleted of the guy that posted it?
It wasn't deleted. Like this thread, it was moved to O&E (and I'm working on verifying that the other post isn't simply SPAM).
OH ITSA STEAL, IM ABOUT TO JUMP ON IT TONIGHT
Unless someone post something negative about them
Thank you pandy!
Just don't forget to do your homework, folks.... The last time I got all excited about looooow prices, I placed an order without researching the company at all (flatout motorcycles). BOY was I disappointed and ticked at myself for my n00b mistake.
If something sounds too good to be true, either jump on it before the mistake is discovered, or beeeee carefuuuul.
They don't have the right size for the rear... So... :dunno_white:
FYI: I talked to Oz on the phone, and not only is he real (and NOT a spammer!), he seems like a really nice guy! He did a lot of research to get his GS500 back on the road after it was hit, so he decided to share with us!   :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

This is the site that is operated by my MSF instructor (the experienced course), Dave.
Great guy. Knows a lot about bikes. He knew EXACTLY what my bike was when I was riding towards the parking lot for the first time to meet the group.
I can vouch for this site being legit.

I can vouch for him. He's local to me. I saw his bike at a local mall and put my business card on it, probably last december or january. He emailed me for info yesterday and told me about being called a spammer, but not in a "I'm hurt" kinda way. I just wanted to make sure the people I direct to the site are treated well. I can see how he'd be considered a spammer since this was his first post (can you say lurker using the search function?). He joined back in January.
I called them up and bought both front (110/70/17) and rear (150/60/17) for 119.99 shipped... great deal, thanks for the post, i've been looking for tires for a couple weeks now. the guy on the phone was super cool and i shoul dhave my tires early next week.
i'll usually use netcraft to checkup on sites i'm not certain about, then google 'foo-bah-site sucks' and see how many hits it gets.
then i'll actually click around and see how many dead links there are, and if their customer unsupport number works, and speaks engrish.
then i'll sit on it for a month, and maybe buy something that claims free shipping as a bonus.
test the water, then measure how deep, then dive in.

Im not stupid he bumped up the front tire price in a day.
IM GLAD YOU CAN UPDATE YOUR SITES PRICES TO GET THAT TACOBELL CASH, BUT YOU CANT BE BOTHERED TO GET THE RIGHT YEAR ON THE BOTTOM!
2003? UHH ITS 2007!
I was looking to pay 119.99, like that guy above^^^ but no you screw me 138.45 whats up with that?
The little college professor on my shoulder apologises for his mistake. :icon_lol:
In his defense, that was a plug from a member with only one post. Sure looked like spam to me.
If Pandy is ok with it and Pablo vouches for the dude, Then I guess I will allow it.
Nothing to see here...go on with your business, don't make me lock this thread. 8)
