Title: Carb jet #'s
Post by: highnoonhunter on May 15, 2007, 05:03:14 PM
Hey guys,

Can anyone provide me with the Mikuni part numbers for the mid & pilot jets for the 2004 models?

I got my main jets today. And I had the other sizes written down and lost them. Now I can't remember what topic I searched to find them.

Thanks!

Stock: 17.5/60/130

Meaning: main=130, mid=60, and pilot=17.5

Thanks groff22,

But I have that information written down.
My bike is stock, but it's running lean, and is kinda missing and "popping" in the 2000-3000 RPM range. I'm not in that RPM range often, but it buggs the snot out of me around town, so I wanted to go up one size on the three jets to see if it helps.

What I'm looking for is the "stock" number, such as:
130 main jet- N 102/221

I believe the Mikuni stock number for the mid jet is:
N224. 103 Does anyone know if this is correct?

And, is the Mikuni stock number for the pilot: VM 28/486   ??

I place an order for a friend with Chaparral and went ahead and ordered the 132.5 main jets. I got them today. I had thoughts of just trying them to see if they would correct the lean condition. But I'm thinking I'll need all three jets due to where the miss is in the RPM range.

Thanks again,
hnh

Sorry for the bother guys,

I finally found my answer: N102/221 for the mains and mids

And: N224.103 for the pilot
