Title: FUEL SYSTEM
Post by: kilmer on May 18, 2007, 11:10:33 AM
So, I ripped into it and replaced the old hoses (not sure if they were factory or not, but they were clear and looked brown so I presume that's just age showing, beside them being hard as a rock) so I followed the diagram I found here: http://www.bbburma.net/FuelHoseRouting.htm the only issue I have is there is a (I presume breather) from the bottom of the tank.  I can't really figure out where it goes.  I have the breather from the carb, but this seems like an extra?  Can anyone confirm?  I can post up pictures if necessary (I am a noob, but I know how to host images etc etc)

Thanks,
Val

I am not sure where the overflow connects to...I looked around the right foot area as you described...everything else seems ok for now...no leaks nothing

There is one that hooks into the bottom of the tank, kind of in the center, that is the fill neck overflow runoff.  The other connects to the bottom of the stock airbox.  Both just stick out under your right foot.  I don't know if there are any fasteners that hold them there, i can check when i leave work and let you know

that'd be cool!  the one is laying over top my K&N air filter and the other one (from the gas tank) just hangs by my right foot right now inside the frame by the shock area
