Also, I found these (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BAR-END-MIRRORS-DUCATI-MONSTER-600-620-695-750-800-S2R_W0QQitemZ120119821075QQihZ002QQcategoryZ35610QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) on ebay. they look like the same mirrors but cheaper, but they never mention the brand. I think it might be a rip off just waiting to happen.

Those mirrors look nice, is it $70 for the pair? I just bought a CRG bar end mirror off of Dubkeith. Looks just like those.

Hahahahahaha.

The ebay one is a modified Mirrycle bicycle mirror, available for $30/pair at a local shop and cheaper online.  I once tried to put one on my GS, but the vibration is horrible.   When he says "strong polycarbonate with steel and brass components", he means "plastic with metal screws".  But the Ebay feedback on them seems good, so maybe it's worth it.

The ones from maxspeed look suspiciously like every other CRG knock-off, like Motrax or the ebay ones.  I get the feeling that they're all from the same factory and are branded by several different suppliers.  They're on sale at CycleGear right now...

General consensus is that the Motrax mirrors are good value for the price, but not as well made as the CRGs.  CRGs hold their value well, so if you can afford to blow $150 to $200 on mirrors, you can sell them on Ebay for 90% of what you paid.

Not exactly on thread topic, but relevant enough.

I used some bicycle ones on my GS for a while, then I clipped a mirror lane-sharing.  Broke the mirror and I went back to stock for a while.  Got sick of them sticking up so far, and wanted bar-ends again, so I bought a CRG LS 3".  Bolts up to any bike I want to put it on, and looks good anywhere.

CRGs don't get buzzy, and the LS pivots in when you smack that cage driver that swerves into you with your bar.  Worth the extra money, IMO.  Just run one if you don't want to spend the cheebah for 2, or one LS and one Blindspot, which is their 2" flat mirror for the right side.
